Assertis have now launched online ticketing systems for two train operating companies, Wrexham & Shropshire, Britain's newest passenger train operating company and Chiltern Railways, winner of 'Passenger Operator of the Year' at the 2007 National Rail Awards and winner of 'Innovative Transport Project of 2008' at the London Transport Awards.
Customers can book their tickets online using Assertis' online rail ticket issuing system. This allows customers to book rail tickets
up to 12 weeks in advance for tickets from London Marylebone to Birmingham, Banbury, Bicester, Stratford upon Apon and many other destinations.
Customers can take advantage of an innovative 'tckts2txt' buying option. Tickets purchased online via the Chiltern Railways and Wrexham & Shropshire websites
can be sent direct to a mobile phone by SMS text message, or alternativly can be printed out at home or work.
Assertis have also made it possible for both clients customers to purchase tickets for single or return journey's as well as making it fully possible to use
their current railcards to save them money on Advance, Saver and Open ticket types. The Chiltern Railways ticketing system also has a multi trip booking option,
allowing the customer to purchase any amount of journeys in one go!
In the near future Assertis plan to bring the UK's first theatre style booking system for the online ticketing system allowing passengers to choose exactly
where they would like to sit on the train.
