Education sector website design and marketing

Our clients in the UK's education sector include London Business School, The Schools at Somerhill and Ripley Court School, and we're currently developing more exciting educational sector websites that will launch very soon.

Centre For creative Business London Business School / Centre for Creative Business

The Centre for Creative Business is a joint venture between London Business School and the University of the Arts London. Its aim is to help creative businesses grow by equipping them to face challenges and changes better, and it runs courses to achieve this.

The CCB website uses a single Content Management System to drive identical Flash and XHTML versions – combining ease of accessibility with an impressive user experience. Other features include members' and delegates' areas, combined news from across the creative industry into one RSS feed, and video case studies.

The website won New Media Age's “Website of the Week” award in February 2007 and is consistently generating new leads, course attendees and enquiries for the centre.

Schools at Somerhill The Schools at Somerhill

The Schools at Somerhill are, collectively, the largest independent preparatory school in Kent with over 600 fee-paying pupils and over 100 staff. Based near Tonbridge in a Grade I listed building, there are three schools on the one site – boys, girls, and a mixed pre-prep level.

Assertis has created a fully content-managed website that enables many members of staff to update the Schools at Somerhill website in a controlled manner. Depending on their privileges, staff can edit different parts of the website, with overall control managed by a small team of senior staff.

The website also incorporates a calendar, complete sports results, newsflashes and a Flash virtual tour of the schools, and uses XHTML 1.1 and CSS to ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility.

Ripley Court School Ripley Court School

Ripley Court School wanted a website that reflected their smaller people-oriented ethos and that's exactly what Assertis helped them to deliver.

The staff have control over all the content and there's a password-protected Parent's Association area for parents to view events, news and photos.

The online calendar generates a printable PDF version and the site is, like all sites we create, fully accessible and compliant with best practice.
